"I'll give my brief response...obey and follow the Missionary Handbook, Preach My Gospel, the Holy Scriptures and the Spirit of the Lord and things will be as they should. The missionary handbook is the same world wide with minor adaptations for different lands and cultures. I was very hesitant to add anything to it and found that the more rules I added, the more rules there were to break. Those missionaries who served best were those who tried their best to follow the inspired handbook of the church and success followed...chapter one of Preach My Gospel is also a great source. "
